Its about time I review this since its pretty much my most enjoyed iced tea. I loved it before steepster, and still do, even after beginning my journey with loose-leaf at the start of this year.
I give this tea a 100 because it is tasty, refreshing, easily accessible from a local store, inexpensive, and fun to brew.

I prefer to make it myself instead of having it at starbucks and I use honey to sweeten.
I made a perfect pitcher of it once which came out absolutely amazing, but I haven’t been able to recreate it exactly for some reason, but I hope to figure it out eventually.

The tea is just so refreshing any time of day. I love that there’s spearmint in this instead of peppermint. The lemongrass and lemon verbana is perfectly blended. I don’t like many green teas so the fact that this is a favorite says a lot.

So happy you found a favorite green!

This is so gross. I hate the bottle I bought for iced tea (it sweats, if the opening isn’t a certain way it leaks) and I didn’t feel like cleaning it this morning so I needed tea between an appointment and class.

Bitter, terrible, finding a new bottle on the way home UGH. All I want is something that doesn’t sweat and can hold at least 24oz, and doesn’t cost more than $20. Sadface. This is what happens when you buy a sad bottle, you have to drink sad tea.

eta I am now wondering why I didn’t buy a nalgene bottle in the first place unless Target is just rude and sells them for $9.99 online only.

Daisy Chubb

Find some more of double walled container! Zero sweat all the time, I hate condensation!

CHAroma

I just bought the DAVIDsTEA glass double-walled tumbler with bamboo lid, and it rocks!!! Waaaay better than its predecessor, a Starbucks plastic travel mug that started leaking. And did I mention it comes with an infuser basket? It’s really nice! Looks sleek and classy too…if tea paraphernalia can look classy. ;)

momo

I just saw fab.com has a sale on Takeya stuff and there’s a double wall tumbler as well as a glass bottle in a silicone jacket…same stuff DavidsTea has. I have $18.50 in credit so I’m really tempted despite just picking up a bottle since I’d only have to pay shipping.

momo

I just stuck the stickers back on so I can take it back hahaha whatever works!

I cold brewed a batch of this tea as a part of my concerted effort to remove most filter bags from my house before summer’s end. No surprise that it tastes a lot like an unsweetened iced green chez Starbucks, since this is that blend.

It’s refreshing enough, but I have never found Zen to be especially “Zen”. Wouldn’t that name be more appropriate for a Japanese single-original first-flush sencha.? It could be called Zencha!

This is my standard order at Starbucks. The mix is very pleasing. I highly suggest trying a splash of lemonade, and either 8 pumps classic for a decently sweet drink or 2 pumps classic for a subtly sweet one.

Cofftea

Have you ever ordered it blended? It looks REALLY funny. I kid you not, it foams. And the foam doesn’t collaps. Between the color and the foam it looks like a beer. I always get unsweetened ginger green.

Mark Bao

Hahaha, yes! I asked a barista to “stick it in the blender” and it just came out foamy. I asked because I was both interested in how it would turn out and I needed it to be really cold really quick. The foam was funny tasting.

Hmm, seems like we’re both Starbucks frequenters! Nice to meet you!

Cofftea

Oh yes. I love my coffee as much as I love my tea although I only have a cup of coffee a day and drink tea through out the day. In the summer I’ll often get a blended iced latte (none of that frappuccino base cr@p) and then get iced tea to go. I’m glad I’m not the only one that makes baristas put everything in the blender:)

Mark Bao

Hmm. I’ve never tried a blended iced latte. Is it basically like a chunked-ice version of an iced latte? What’s the price tag on that?

Cofftea

It’s exactly the same only the ice is broken up into bits. It costs the same as a regular iced latte. If they charge you for blending it, they’re robbing you.

This is a very refreshing iced tea on a hot day. I prefer it unsweetened.

My go-to iced beverage when on the go, MUCH better unsweetened! This is one of my favorite cold teas.

I generally like having a couple of pitchers of iced tea in the fridge, so I will usually make one with black tea and one with a flavored tea of some sort. This box of iced tea was an impulse purchase that I didn’t initially enjoy. A month or two after making the first pitcher, I made another, and this time I liked it much more.

I think what threw me off initially was how spearmint-y this green tea was, but once I grew accustomed to that taste, I started enjoying it a lot more. Now, it’s one of the teas I cycle into rotation when I don’t feel like getting out a measuring spoon and my pitcher strainer insert. Just throw the bag into a pitcher, fill halfway with boiling water, let sit five minutes, and top off with cold. Fast, simple, and refreshing.

Flavors: Spearmint

If you love tea, don’t go to Starbucks. Period.

I usually drink my tea hot, but this was good too.

A great mid-afternoon drink to help ward of the sleepiness that comes from studying. I rather enjoy having my iced green tea from Starbucks (or any coffee shop) as they do a better job preparing it for me. Today I’ve paired it with a pumpkin muffin, so the ginger really adds something to the flavor.
