From Stop and Shop

Our Green Tea is all natural. It has a fresh, mellow flavor, a hearty aroma, and a golden appealing color. Our Green Tea is delicious hot or iced.
The fresh flavor makes a refreshing thirst-quenching iced beverage, and a satisfying hot tea.

FOR A DELICIOUS CUP OF HOT TEA:
Bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Let water cool 1 minute after boiling. Pour water over one tea bag and steep 1-2 minutes. Remove tea bag. If desired add sweetener.

FOR A REFRESHING QUART OF ICED TEA:
Use 4 tea bags for each quart.
Bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Let the water cool 1 minute after boiling. Pour 4 cups over tea bags and steep for 1-2 minutes. Remove bags and pour over ice filled glasses. If desired, serve with lemon and/or sweetener.

I don’t normally buy groceries from Stop and Shop but as we had a gift card to be used, decided to buy what we could afford. Anyhow, that is how I came to purchased this Green tea.

Steeping instruction:
Bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Let water cool 1 minute after boiling. Pour water over one tea bag and steep 1-2 minutes. Remove tea bag. If desired add sweetener.

I must note that the teabag are thicker than some other store brand kind and are individually wrapped.

Tea has a delicate aroma, and is astringently vegetal but not bitter.
Tea color is golden brown
Temperature: 190 Fahrenheit; steeped for 3 minutes.

Since wanting a stronger cup of tea this morning I opted for two tea bags rather than my daily one bag at a time with three or four infusions. First infusion is more vegetal and this hits you at the start of sipping. Once I get past this then the rest is enjoyment or simply to drink a cup of green tea.

There is nothing particularly exciting about this Green tea, which is why I chose this tea today. I wanted a plain cup of tea that happens to be a Stop and Shop store brand.

This is good tea and nicely hot just the way I like to have my tea. If only I had biscuits or those soft short bread cookies to go with this than all would be well.

I continue to drink this tea for the simple pleasure with ease of making a cup of green tea. It would seem the longer steeps with 2nd and 3rd infusion makes it more dew; not quite melon dew but a softer taste to palette.
Not sure if making sense. Something in the tasting is similar to that of the Ceylon green teas I have tried.

It is nice that I have a full box of this tea and I can continue to enjoy it daily. The longer steeps does make it taste more vegetal reminding me that it is indeed green tea. No malt or smokiness in this cup. Just dewy green tea; it has character for an all natural tea. And unlike organic which can disappear with barely a hint at something but what is in the cup…
