From SpecialTeas

This superior Darjeeling from the renowned Makaibari Estate speaks of the pristine environment in which it was cultivated. Grown at 5,000 ft. in the mist-covered foothills of the Himalayan Mountain Range, it boasts a beautiful dark amber cup color. The silvery, unopened leaf buds enhance the sweet, fruity, muscatel notes with complex character in both the cup aroma and taste. The new 2009 harvest is exceptionally aromatic and flavorful.

Recommendations: Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep 2-3 min.

Ingredients: Black tea

I used up the last bit of this tea. I love the name of it. I bumped up the rating just because it is so delicious without any additives. It is floral, slightly fruity, and sweet and perhaps a tiny bit grassy in taste. So good and so smooth! It isn’t bitter at all.

V-day SweeTea Tea, thanks Saykayay!
A bright, smooth Darjeeling with a mild sweetness. A brisk roof-of-the-mouth darjeeling finish. nice.

This is an undated second flush Darjeeling from a sample collection. It brews up a tasty medium amber cup that is malty with a touch of citrus and a faint bitterness. Overall it’s very well balanced, reliable and good.
