From SpecialTeas

Kuki-cha is a popular Japanese tea made from the twigs of the tea bush. Upon harvesting, the twigs are roasted four times, turning them nut-brown in color. When infused they yield a mild cup with a nutty-woody aroma. Kuki-cha is low in caffeine and reputed to have relaxing properties.

Recommendations: Use 1.5 tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh, cold water to boiling point; let steep for 5-10 min.

Decent, but not as good iced as it is hot. I feel more like I’m drinking a bucket of cold water with a stick stuck in the bottom than a prepared iced tea drink. Or maybe water that’s been sitting in a wooden bucket for a while. It’s not unpleasant, but not really something I’d want to replicate.

Also, yesterday I was trying to say the name of this tea to a non-tea person, and suddenly it sounded for all the world like some sort of racy dance step. Hee!
