While neither rooibos or honeybush are technically tea, but rather are infusions, we think this blend of the two rivals many teas we have had. Rooibos is made from the Aspalathus Linearis plant, within the fabaceae family and honeybush is made from a close relative in the Cyclopia genus. This infusion contains no caffeine, and can brew quite strong. In South Africa where rooibos and honeybush are very popular, it is common to add milk and sugar to the drink, a trend that has not quite caught on yet in the rest of the world. This malted honey-like-brew has a delicious sweetness to it that makes it perfect for after a meal with a subtle floral taste. Our organic variety ensures that you will receive the best quality available with large leaf size.
This tea is a blend of 50% of our rooibos and 50% of our honeybush.
