The medium-brown leaves brew to a greenish-brown leaf, with a flowery aroma. The amber cup of Java Kertasarie Estate is medium-bodied, brisker tasting than a Ceylon and has a flavorful infusion with a delightful oak cask aftertaste.

This is a really bold Estate tea that would make a really good breakfast tea. I like it with a drizzle of honey to soften the edge, and it would also probably be quite nice with a drop of milk too.
I thought this had something of a licorice smell in the packet, with some grilled veggie there, too. To me it was quite smooth, and not very brisk. I think I should’ve brewed it for another minute. Not an exciting tea, but pleasant and easy to drink.
