The tea cake was made of wild arbor tea leaves harvested in Spring from Yiwu mountain, considering it a truly authentic rare and unique Pu-erh tea. It went into aging in a true dry storage in Yunnan, it delivered a taste of a good semi-aged Pu-erh that was in its adolescent age.
The brewed soup is oily thick in orange red, it tastes so typical Yiwu, as it was made by a small Fuhui Tea workshop right in the town of Yiwu. The initial brews are still felt a little rough, it then turns into a flavorful affair, the aroma is still well kept, thanks to its dry condition. The over-brewing yields some ruby liquor that is never hard to swallow. The throat feel is nice for quite a while after brewing session.

So far I’ve used this tea twice. One session with 4 grams, one with 7. Both with about 150 ml water at boiling with steep times ranging from 20sec to several minutes.
I did prefer the 7gram session, both produce a nice golden/honey peach tone to start. The taste was fairly constant across the steeps, mild astringency, a pleasant mouth and throat feel.
Over all this tea is fair in my opinion, I prefer stronger character.
