Palais des Thés Advent Calendar – Day 20 (from November backlog)

Oops, forgot to post this last night…

Ooh, this sounds nice. I have an apple cinnamon chamomile blend from another company that I really enjoy, so I’m optimistic.

The apple and spice part is very subtle here. Mostly I taste chamomile, which I do enjoy so it’s not a bad thing. There’s a slight apply hint in the background, along with perhaps a bit of added sweetness. It also adds a tart taste to the end of the sip. Honestly I’m not detecting any spice at all…

This is tasty and very relaxing for the evening, but mostly it’s a chamomile tea with a hint of apple so not terribly special. But yummy!

Chamomile and apple do go nicely together. I am still grousing that Celestial Seasonings pulled their Sweet Apple Chamomile.

I have an apple cinnamon chamomile tea from New Moon Tea Co that I need to pull out tonight!

I love Stash’s Apple Cinnamon Chamomile, mostly because all traces of chamomile (a flavor I don’t like) are completely drowned out by the hibiscus base (a flavor I do like… so much so I always double-bag it cause I like a really strong cuppa when I make it). I imagine no one else here would like it.

I totally forgot to drink mine last night. This one sounds good though.

Satisfying spin on chamomile. What I like about this is the delicate peppery herbaceous aroma and taste. It mingles really well with the balanced chamomile, apple and spices. Really light with a simple sweetness.
