From Nature's Tea Leaf

Organic Raspberry Leaf Tea is made from the leaf of the raspberry fruit. This tea is traditionally used as an aid in the reproductive health of women but should NOT be used during the first trimester of pregnancy. In alternative medicine, practitioners and midwives recommend drinking this tea just before and during labor in order to induce contractions and speed the delivery process. However, there are additional benefits for those women who are not pregnant. The May Clinic notes that some women found relief from PMS symptoms including the reduction of menstrual bleeding and cramps. Organic Raspberry Leaf Tea is a good source of vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, B complex, calcium, iron and magnesium in a form that will be absorbed easily into the body. The steeped tea is a beautiful deep golden with a delicious mild yet full flavor that is absent of any bitterness.

Well I tricked myself with this one because I assumed it would taste somewhat like raspberry. However, this tea uses the raspberry leaf – so no raspberry flavor. My mistake.

This is a great afternoon/evening tea. It is mild in taste but somewhat full bodied. A bit woodsy/grassy in a nice way. The liquor is a golden color and the smell reminiscent of an oolong earthiness.

Edit: I got home tonight and was craving this tea again. So I made a pot. I also hiked up the rating as this tea seems to be growing on me.
