Chocolate Mint Whisper White Tea is an exclusive blend of a select White Peony tea with pure peppermint leaves and rich Belgian chocolate. The whole leaf tea is evenly mixed with fresh cut mint leaves that are dried naturally to preserve their flavor. Belgian semisweet and white chocolate curls are expertly combined to provide the drinker with a tea that is decadent in aroma but with a flavor that is fresh and minty with hints of rich and velvety chocolate.

After a couple false starts I learned I needed to use more leaf by volume than I normally use. The front of the sip is white tea. The white peony remains solid but dives under the chocolate flavor that comes in next. Its white and Belgian semi-sweet curls that completely melt in the brew. The curls taste really good when you pick them out of the bag. As it turns kind of milky the peppermint kicks in for the finale in the aftertaste. This is white tea so everything is a little subtle. Whisper is the correct name for this but it works. A really good cup.

I really liked this tea. I loved the curls of chocolate in the dry leaf. Oh, sure, I realize that cacao nibs are better at flavoring the tea, and that chocolate chips (or chocolate curls like in this tea) tend to cloud up the tea a bit, but, I don’t care because it’s chocolate and chocolate makes me happy.
The chocolate and mint seemed to bring out different notes in the white peony leaves that I found very intriguing. Less vegetative, more earthy. I thought the earthy notes worked well with the chocolate as well as the herbaceous notes of the mint.

The name of this tea is so pretty that you just know that you’re in for a good cup of tea. The dry blend is very pleasing to the eye with perfect curls of white and dark chocolate. There are some full-size tea leaves in the blend also. The smell of the dry leaves is very soft, which is fitting for the ‘whisper’ in the name. The texture of the tea was a nice surprise – a little cloudy in the cup and very creamy. Although very light, the flavor is of mint with just a hint of chocolate. This is unlike any other mint tea that I’ve had and a nice change of pace. I think I’ll make my fiancee a nice, warm cup of this when he comes home – he loves mint teas and has been outside coaching soccer all day (in the snow/ice!).
-Dry blend has large whole tea leaves, broken pieces of peppermint leaves and white and black chocolate curls. The chocolate curls dissolve while steeping.
-Dry leaves smell lightly of mint and chocolate. Tea liquor aroma is vegetal and minty.
-Tea liquor is a cloudy golden yellow color.
-Soft grassy flavor with a hint of rich chocolate. Nice lingering minty finish.
-Best with sweetener.
-Very good tea. Creamy, refreshing mint tea. Sweetener brings out more of the chocolate flavors.
