A special black tea blend made by Murchie’s for a long-standing Vancouver icon.
York House School, widely recognized for its high standards, has celebrated over 75 successful years as a private girls’ school in Vancouver. Many of the students, once graduated, progressed into different professions, often leading them to foreign lands, but all try to come ‘home’ for reunions and celebrations.
Murchie’s was asked to provide a special tea named for the school, and to package it in order for the girls to use as a memento of these special occasions and reunions.
This tea has been so well received, we’ve added it to our list of teas and are amazed at how many former students (and others) are ordering this tea from around the world.
Since 1894, Murchie’s has been importing and blending the finest quality teas from select gardens around the world. As the decades have passed, the art of tea blending and tradition of excellence are handed down along with the old recipes. Today, Murchie’s offers traditional products and classic blends while also developing new combinations for a new generation of tea drinkers.
