From mud and leaves

This 2019 first flush #43 Longjing (Dragon Well) Tea was picked before the Qing Ming Festival in Mei Jia Wu 梅家坞, one of the few officially-recognized Longjing tea gardens, located beside the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. #43 Longjing is the newer cultivar of Longjing tea, which along with the original variety, are grown in the official Longjing tea gardens around West Lake Hangzhou. This cultivar buds earlier than old Longjing, making this the earliest harvested Longjing of 2019. As batch 001, this is the first batch of the first flush of 2019. #43 Longjing is prized for its strong flavour, aroma, and long-lasting sweet aftertaste.
