I’m one sleepy idiot…
I woke up and brewed a pot of this and began eating some really spicy food with red jalapenos. Now I’m trying to drink this shincha and I am not sure what I am tasting.
Guess I will have to try it again sometime.

Anyone else ever do this before?

MissB

Not with this specific tea, but with tea… All the time. I’ll ask myself, “why does this taste weird?” Oh yes, I have to blend my meals with my tea..

Fjellrev

Yep! I’ve done that many times haha.

Some teas work with food though!
Beef jerky and shou pu’er seems to work.
Floral or fruit teas work well with salads.
A dark oolong works for pizza (this is probably only me)
and of course, a strong cup of black with breakfast

but… spicy food does not work well :/
