Not too strong, nor overpowering.

Bergamot and citrus aromas of equal strength, quite refreshing, slight malty character.
Bergamot is very subtle, the citrusy notes are more eminent. Slight astringency.

All in all it’s just a typical corporate product – base black tea of dubious quality, not enough aromas, not enough taste.

Flavors: Bergamot, Citrus, Earth, Lemon

I have this available at work. This Early Grey have a bit more citrus than traditional Earl Grey. I prefer the classic over this variant. I find this a bit dull, I would have prefered a bit more Bergamont and citrus, actually Twinings have a variant called Golden Earl Grey which is more lively. This it’s still a nice tea, but I won’t buy it my self. There are way to many exciting teas to taste and explore.

This was my boyfriend’s favourite morning tea/bagged tea. I can’t seem to find Lipton’s in London, so I now buy the Lemon Grey from Twinings, which has a similar thing going on. A very nice teabag. I find that Earl Greys do pretty well in teabag form, they don’t seem to be overly demanding.

Lipton Russian Earl Grey best works for me as-is when paired with desserts. Especially ones with a high sugar/butter content. When drinking this on its own I do like to add a touch of milk and or sweetener to tone down the citrus/bergamot flavor a bit. Strong, smokey black tea flavor, high notes of spice and citrus from flavorings.
