From Life In Teacup

Production Year: 2013
Production Season: Spring, Harvested on March 30
Production Region: Anhui Province, Yellow Mountain Region (Geographic Patent Region). Single estate. 1400m (4200ft.) above sea level.
Style: Hong Qing (roasted)

This is very likely The Highest site for Huang Shan Mao Feng. We offer this tea at a price much lower than market average, as we obtain it directly from a tea farmer family from this remote area where there was no automobile road to facilitate convenient transportation until 2013. This year, a road has been built for this village, and tea sale would be easier for the village from now on. In spite of the higher market price of this year, the producer of this tea restrained from raising his price in order to express thanks to his buyers for years of support. Therefore, in spite of higher shipping costs and other fringing costs of this year, we keep the price same as last year.
