Peony White Needle is a premium grade, loose leaf white tea
from China. This rare and exotic white tea is from the Chongqing
Province. The needle shaped leaves are covered with delicate
hairs that provide the tea connoisseur with a delicate lingering fragrance and fresh sweet mellow taste. The rules for picking Peony White tea are strictly enforced. Only leaves picked between March 15 and April 10 are used. Harvesting does not commence unless the leaves are dry and void of any morning dew. This tea is also quite astringent under the tongue and in the back of the throat.
I will tinker with steeping times. This one is quite different.
