From Imperial Tea Court

Produced from the famed tea growing region of Zhejiang, Snow Water green is a beautiful tea, with perfectly formed “spear point” buds whose delicately colored golden liquor is crisp yet gentle and full body with a silky smooth finish. Snow water green is produced entirely by hand and sorted painstakingly by skilled workers until perfection is formed.

PREPARATION:To prepare Snow Water we suggest a gaiwan as the best method for showing off its beautiful leaves and maintaining the most control over the infusion. In a pre-warmed 6 oz Gaiwan, place 3-4 grams of leaf and cover with 60-70°C (140-158°F) water and steep without covering lid for 1-2 minutes. Pour off into tasting cups and enjoy. Re-steep by gradually increasing infusion time and water temperature. Always adjust time, quantity of leaves and water temperature according to personal preference.

I was looking for a nice green tea and was recommended this while at the berkeley location. Very smooth and silky as described and lingers just perfectly. I tasted this while at the shop and received a 25% discount on a batch I took home as it was last year’s harvest.
