loose ripe Pu-Erh Tea 2009, 2009 harvested from Simao, Jinggui County, Yunnan, China
Quality fully ripened fermented Pu-Erh. Beautiful red tea moisture, good brightness, sweet, no bitterness, silky, woody forest flavor.
An excelent product from the Gu Zhuang tea factory.
Use boiling water, the tea is the first time to be washed and the wash water disposal, the tea can be resteeped several time.
Amount of tea about 2 grams per cup, allow to steep for 1 minute!
Delicious after a hearty meal.

this is my first try at pu ehr, and I am pleasantly surprised….
it smells like a barnyard, which I try to ignore…

1 tbl spoon, my kamjove 200ml. steeping time 1 min.

red coloured tea, very smooth & warming.
Hints of cacoa. sweet. woodsy…

since this is my first try at pu ehr ripe , I will keep this short, and add more later after

It took me quite a while to be brave enough to try shou as well. I wasn’t sure, I kept saying, I didn’t want to risk not liking it. So then I got talked into trying just a little. Wow. I loved it.

me too, though the smell is will always be an issue….however, since I signed up for the White2Tea teaclub (love oolongs and sheng pu) I decided to have a go at shou. Was ready to pass it on to a friend who loves it… but i fear she will end up with nothing this time. :)
