sipdownd of this one. Second cup around there’s a flavour in here i do not like. I can handle the spicy heat of this, but there’s an almost soapy? floral? flavour in the background that i’m not happy with. That being said, this makes me want to go dig sichuan caravan out of the cupboard and have that for the other sort of spicy ginger love it flavour. Thanks for sharing this dexter!

This is listed as a black chia, but it’s a rooibos, isn’t it? It’s gotta be. Unless I’m crazy.

Sil

Rooibos as far as I’m concerned :)

It was so insanely cold today that I made this to help me keep warm.
It didn’t really taste that good in my timolino.

Damn.

Also, bringing teas for the office doesn’t help anything if you don’t bring anything to STEEP YOUR TEA. >:| The boss brought me a double double from Timmies so that was acceptable.

Sipdown!! (128)

Thank you Cavocorax for sharing this tea. It is certainly very interesting. It smells sweet so I was not expecting the little kick of spiciness I got in my first sip. However, when I took a second to think about it, “fireside” should probably have given that away. I don’t mind spice but I don’t particularly enjoy drinking it tbh so this tea is just not for me. It was fun to try though.

All I have to say is EEEwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!
Chai yeah, spicy yeah – but what is that “wintermint” coldness on the tongue. There is something in here that I really don’t like. Didn’t make it through the cup – this is a dump for me….. (I apologize to everyone I sent this to – really I hadn’t tried it…)

MissB

Sadly, I had a similar reaction. :(

This is… weird. It smelled like soap to me coming out of the bag, and all I saw was rooibos in the blend. I had one sip and said.. no thanks. The HUGE floral pieces were also a deterrent, and this is going in the swap box. My daughter said, as she had some, “This is surprisingly and weirdly spicy”. Agreed, and I normally love spicy.
