Juicy Watermelon

Prior to trying this, it was a plus in my mind because it is a fruity tisane that actually DOESN’T have hibiscus in it. That is surprisingly rare so when I find one, I am immediately interested.

I got a generous portion from Dexter3657 and immediately prepped a bottle to cold steep. I am very happy that the melon flavors are strong and deliciously refreshing. However, there is a bit of a sweet bubblegum quality to this that I am not loving. Nonetheless, this is a very juicy drink and would probably be nice to have around in the summertime. Thank you Dexter3657 for sharing this with me. It is definitely something I would consider restocking.

Ohhh, this is good. The sample packet sadly hadn’t fully sealed (nothing escaped!), so I decided to open it first.

So good. Yes, I’m drinking this hot. It’s delicious! And my BFF agrees, since she’s sitting on the floor drinking it with ice cream. :)

So good! I threw some of this into my new Green’s Your Colour insulated steel water bottle (it comes with a really fine tea strainer; perfection!) and let it cold steep overnight to help keep me hydrated during another 12-hour. It reminds me of David’s Luscious Watermelon, but with less of the kind of bubblegumesque flavour. Very refreshing, and I find watermelon to be a really soothing flavour. I haven’t tried this hot yet, but I anticipate that brewing it hot and letting it chill would yield more flavour. This was still great cold-brewed, though.

Caveat Emptor! This company does not have their act together. My order was either never sent or lost in the mail, it took anywhere from a few hours to two weeks for them to answer emails, and when I finally got my order after six weeks, one of the items was missing.

This was a miss for me. It definitely smelled like watermelon, but when I brewed it, it tasted lightly of watermelon, but I think I could also taste the carrot which I didn’t particularly care for. I’ll pass it on to someone who might enjoy it more.

This one smells so good. Like watermelon candies or bubblegum.

The brewed tea tastes just like watermelon candies or bubblegum. I added a few pieces of rock sugar before I tasted it, and it seemed to work.

I would love to have this one iced!

This is my first taste of Herbal Infussions and I am impressed so far.

We brewed this up cold to try yesterday. My fiance is absolutely crazy about melon drinks, but not a huge fan of more fruity teas, so I wanted to see how this would go over. Long story short, he adores is, loves it, is so enraptured with it we had to order more, like right that minute. To be honest, I really like it to. The watermelon is nice and light and naturally sweet and the tea has a good strong flavour to the cup. I am really impressed with this tea and can see it being drunk a lot at our house in the summer.

I ordered this one as a sample size in my HI order.

I just opened the package, and it smells exactly like David’s Luscious Watermelon. Looking at the ingredients, I think it may just be exactly like it too. No problem though, since I loved that tea. I miss it in the summertime.

I could see most people enjoying this one cold, and you’re right, it is good cold. But I actually prefer it hot. The mix of ingredients is pretty bang-on watermelon-like. And watermelons are my favourite.

I could see ordering 50g. Plus, look how pretty the colour is!
