Premium herbal tea. H‑E‑B Cinnamon Spice Tea is a premium blend with a delightful and sweet cinnamon flavor. This special selection of herbs is aromatic with spices and refreshing.
DIRECTIONS
Hot Tea: Pour boiling water over tea bag in a cup and steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove tea bag. If desired, serve with sweetener.
For a Refreshing Quart of Ice Tea: Bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Pour 4 cups over 3 to 5 tea bags and brew for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove bags and pour over ice filled glasses.

Maybe the big red chewing gum flavor and chamomile base will lull me to sleep this evening. How many boxes of this tea have I bought? I don’t have enough toes and fingers to count. What a great on the go tea it is and I hope to always have it in my travel stash.

Another HEB first for me! The dry bag and envelope smelled eggnoggy, but there’s no cream or vanilla in it. A previous review compared it to Big Red chewing gum, and I can’t improve on that for accuracy. It’s a notch lighter than Harney & Sons’ Hot Cinnamon Spice, but then again, it’s herbal and has a little less muscle. Tasty and pleasant.
There are quite a few ingredients in this rooibos blend, but all I can smell and taste is the cinnamon. It’s that Big Red gum cinnamon, so I thought I wouldn’t love it, but I really actually do! It’s sweet, not spicy like I expected, and really tastes just like Big Red (without the mouth burn). Still not tasting any of the other flavors, but I’m cool with it. Thanks for letting me try one of your favorites, Michelle!

You certainly wouldn’t guess that the base is chamomile here. It makes a soothing bedtime cup in the winter. Glad you liked it :)
I’m not much for chamomile, except for one AQ2T blend, and I never would have known there was chamomile in this if I hadn’t seen the ingredients. Even knowing it was there, I couldn’t taste it.

Where did you get an HEB tea?! I thought they only had locations in Texas! I don’t think I ever tried their brand teas.
I teach a week long class every few months in TX and going to HEB is a highlight of my travel!
That makes sense! When I lived in Austin I taught a week long class in California. Going to Trader Joes before they had locations in TX was one of the highlights of my visits! Have you ever been to a Central Market? It’s HEB’s answer to Whole Foods. They are amazing!

I’ve been to the Central Market in Houston and in Austin, both have extensive tea sections, much better than Whole Paycheck lol
