From Good Tea Good Day

About this tea
Cold hands and feet, pale complexion and fatigue are very common. These unpleasant conditions are usually due to deficiency and obstruction of qi (energy) and blood.

Hongkongers like brewing themselves a traditional infusion made of jujube, longan and goji berry to lift the energy up. This herbal blend tonifies the spleen and the stomach to replenish qi and blood. Sufficient qi and blood are the basis to maintain harmony of organs, support the immune system, relieve fatigue and help you stay energetic.

Furthermore, this herbal tea boosts blood circulation, promotes a healthy rosy complexion and relieves cold hands and feet. It is also a period soothing drink for ladies as it helps relieve menstrual cramps.

Jujube, longan and goji berry are good at calming the spirit too. Thus this herbal tea is also well known to improve sleep quality.

Help your body get back balance to dispel unpleasant sub-health conditions and stay energetic. Sip this sweet herbal tea and you will feel the cosy comfort and warm support!

Sipdown! (38 | 447)

So this is mostly just very sweet. I’m not surprised, given it’s a mix of three different dried fruits. There are some nice honeyed notes and some grainy, almost buttery bready notes. Not sure if that’s from the jujube or something else, since I’ve never had it before.

Anyway, very sweet. I would like more goji here for the tartness. As-is, it’s mostly just sweet on sweet.

(Please note that my rating is only in regard to the taste of this tisane, I can’t comment on any potential health benefits.)
