This tea is pleasant enough but not overwhelmingly amazing, but it’s got one major thing going for it: it steeps beautifully in the water that comes out of the hot water dispenser at work, and it’s the only tea of the many I’ve tried that I can say that about. Since I can’t bring myself to bring my own kettle to work, this tea has become like a very dear friend who makes every day a little more bearable.

1607 tasting notes

This is some old ass tea. Best by Jan 2013.

Made a pot using three bags for me and the two housemates after dinner. The pineapple, mango and peach flavorings were pretty strong and melded well while still allowing the earthy and grassy green tea to come through. I also tasted a light jasmine breeze underneath, though there’s no mention of jasmine flavoring being in this tea. The lemongrass, flowers and cinnamon were not detectable but maybe they served as a bridge between the taste of an earthy green tea and brighter fruit flavors.

For a flavored green tea, this was pretty good.

With a quick search of the webz, it looks like this tea has been discontinued.
