This was the first loose tea I tried from Foojoy and I liked it quite a lot. Full-bodied but with a delicate flavor, aroma is grassy with a hint of toastiness. I’ve found keeping the brewing temperature lower is important; the aroma becomes unpleasant if it’s too hot, even though the tea does not become too bitter.

My least favorite of the three Foojoy Gold green teas that I purchased from T&T Ginseng, but still a solid cup. Has melon rind aroma, a somewhat grassy taste, and a nice sweetness. I think this would be perfect for making green tea lemonade. This one is distinguished for the ability to get at least three good brews from the leaves, so I gave rebrewing a shot. It does indeed retain most of its flavor for another brew or two, but not really a quality I am looking for in my tea. I don’t care to rebrew.

Changed my mind about rebrewing tea – As I am now more sensitive to caffeine, it makes sense for me to rebrew. Now I am looking for teas which give at least two good steeps western style, and I have cut my caffeine intake roughly in half.
