From Fares 1929

Tea for quiet moments. The recipe is based on the most used plant of Romanians – chamomile. It blends harmoniously with the aroma of rose petals.

The scented tea is recommended to be consumed in the evening. For peace of mind after a busy day.

The infusion is 100% natural. It does not contain flavors, synthetic dyes and additives.

January Sipdown Prompt – a blend made in another country

I received a surprise package from Martin recently! I didn’t translate the tea name first – Martin already told me these were caffeine free – and I picked this one randomly.

I really liked the aroma and picked up rose right away. Funnily enough, I had just pulled a chocolate from an M&S box and it was Turkish Delight so I had a theme going.

I love this! This is way more rose than chamomile and that suits me very well indeed. The chamomile stays in the background. The rose is so sweet and lovely, and I am a fan of floral tea!

Thank you, Martin! It was a delicious tea!

Martin, this one’s amazing! I tend to be leery of rose teas because they can be improperly blended and taste like the soap Grandma kept in her nightie drawer to make everything smell good. However, the rose gets a really nice citrus counterpoint that keeps it from being too cloying. This is another one I think will be really lovely on ice. Thank you!

Well, I still have a lots of left, so… if I won’t be able to finish them or share them, they are yours!

I have some in the fridge waiting for me to get home from work!

Delicious cold! My son tried a sample sip to humor me and said it reminded him of fruity chewing gum. I wouldn’t have come up with that on my own, but by the power of suggestion, now I’m tasting it.

Happy that you liked it. I don’t, so as I said. Rest can be yours :)

This tea I drank last two evenings as those two days were a bit harsh at work; leaving late, tired and with a mood for simple but delicious tea. I just picked this one because it needs to be drinked anyway.

The orange (tangerine) note has weakened a lot and I am actually glad for that. Now it is rose-y chamomile tea that have a wonderful texture, nice scents, and tastes good enough too.
Works so well for relaxing purposes; and there are no too strong flavours to be cloying. Now I can see a chance to finish the box :)
