Tea was first introduced to Russia in 1618 by a Chinese ambassador. At the time, Russians were accustomed to drinking warm fruit and herbal beverages and tea was not very well received at first. Over time the Russians decided to enhance tea by adding fruit and spices. Today Russians are among the highest per capita tea drinkers in the world. This premium Russian Earl Grey is fused with all natural Thai lemongrass, Spanish orange, and other sultry citrus notes. Add a splash of milk and sugar to bring out the citrus overtones of this blend. This is one tea you’ll want to savor all day long.

This is a nice addition to the world of Earl Greys…bergamot shines here with the aroma of lemon grass and oranges right behind. It’s nice..if you like Earl Greys. How did they conceive of this in other Russia? Maybe the Silk Road or something? Do they really drink this in Russia or is it some British invention? I’m a little too lazy to Google it right now..I need to finish the tea.
