This is a bright green, vegetal and somewhat sweet brew. It is I think a mixture of sencha and matcha. When I transferred the tea into a tin I could see a cloud of matcha dust left behind. There is definitely matcha in there. The surprising thing about this tea is the lack of bitterness. I was expecting a little. It does have a strong vegetal quality to it.

I brewed this once with my Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 2 tsp leaf and 175 degree water for 1 min 30 sec.

I am noticing a little bitterness as the tea cools. Didn’t notice it when the tea was hot.

This sounds really good! :)

It was good but different compared to what I’m used to.
