From Die Kunst des Tees

The main aspect in this very Song Zhong Dan Cong is a scent and flavor of pineapple, dried plums and figs. Beside that a “bread-cookie-flowery-honey-feeling is the second strong companion in this tasteful delicious game. The flowery aspect is mostly noticeable in a typical osmanthus bouquet followed by a hint of magnolia and orchid. Ripe fruits like peaches, apricot and pears are closing this first circle of lovely notes.

The optical appearance is quite chocolaty crispy in its dark colors. Later you will notice a bunch of very longs sticks with leaves mostly stayed closed. Only some loose shredded leaves are open.

The infusions and their taste is very similar to what you smelled. A good hint from my side. If you want it very strong fruity then steep it a little bit longer like 1 minute but if you want to experience this sensational pineapple taste just steep it for 30 seconds. Now you can taste the rest like what you smelled before but much stronger in their ripe fruit, dried fruit, bread honey cookie flowery appearance. Especially after the second infusion you will notice a new character in this round of fruits and flowers plus a very mineral one.

The quality stands for its self. Without any loss you can infuse until the 5th one. After that with a little less appearance until the 7th infusion.
