This is pretty pleasant, especially considering I oversteeped it. It tastes like an herbal tea, so I don’t know what the green tea adds. It’s not too tart, just fruity and nice cold. I’d drink this one again, but I wouldn’t purchase it due to the caffeine content. Thanks, Cameron B!

This one is interesting. I like the concept of orange with rosemary and olive leaf, although to me the orange here is a bit like vitamin C tablets. I do taste a hint of the savory herbs.

Mostly though, I taste stevia. Bleck.

So sweet as to make me gag, I tossed out the entire cup after tasting. So did my husband. The stevia is overpowering even though it is the final ingredient in the list. I also get a faint metallic flavor from this tea which may be the affect of the stevia (which I am not certain of as I have never been sensitive to this before I bought from Davids Tea). I washed out the cups with soap prior to trying another tea. Awful.

B is for… Blood Orange Boost!

No reviews except for Roswell Strange? Odd. This tea is notable because of one specific ingredient – rosemary. There is a LOT of rosemary in the blend. And I think this actually works really well here. The blood orange flavour is bright and realistic – no pithy bitterness or cleaner vibes, like can often happen – and the rosemary really complements it with background notes of spice(? I don’t know how to describe this). I would guess that the balance of rosemary/orange is very sensitive to infusion time, so keeping a low duration is probably important. There are a bunch of other ingredients here too, but none are particularly noticeable.

This tea is actually pretty good, and I see that Roswell Strange remarked that it’s fantastic iced. I seem to have 18g for some reason, so can probably sneak in an iced cup there if I remember. I believe it would be quite refreshing. It’s not a tea I’d regularly choose to drink, however, although I do find the profile interesting and worth a taste.

This morning I paired a mug of this zesty orange blend with an equally rich and citrusy bagel with marmalade and a good comic! Between the tea, the bagel, and a few not pictured tangelos, I feel like this was just an explosion of every “style” of citrus flavour I could have possibly experienced: juicy sweetness, tart and tangy sourness, and even a pithy bitterness from rind in the marmalade. It’s definitely a good way to jumpstart a Sunday morning!!

Not a DT blend that I personally crave/drink often – but when it’s what you’re in the mood for it does really deliver those strong orange notes. And I do love the hint of rosemary.

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
