This attractive, well-made tea has small, delicate leaves in lovely golden-green and sea green hues. Sweet, vegetal notes, suggesting carrot and squash with a touch of spinach, without the grassiness or seaweed flavors found in some Japanese greens, which is all to the good. This is a unique Himalayan green tea worth having. It proves, if needs be, that you don’t have to be from China or Japan to make a crediable green tea! The liquor is clean, light and sparkling-fresh, a nicely rounded, sweet and slightly astringent cup, with no bitterness. Responds very well to a lighter steep and slightly cooler water temperatures.
