Hmm black tea was a weird base choice for this flavor profile. Hot, I didn’t feel like I was getting the optimal strawberry or mint flavor. Cold, I felt like the black tea didn’t taste its best. I would have preferred this with a green or herbal base because it is a flavor profile I enjoy a lot. Sadly, it didn’t work for me at all here.

Strawberry and mint is a favorite summertime combo for me—the hotter it is, the more likely you are to find a jar cold-steeping in the fridge, but I don’t do it often in a mug. But as it was at least warm and sunny enough to hang sheets out on the line, I decided to give it a wintertime whirl.

This time around, it didn’t go quite as planned. Either I oversteeped (a definite possibility) or the little Advent packet didn’t quite contain the right balance of ingredients (that happens with chunkier teas when you have limited space and can’t pack it all in there), and it ended up a little on the bitter side.

Your experience may vary—this has great potential for fruit tea lovers!

Hmm. It’s called Strawberry Mint Spritzer on my pouch. I think it is this one anyway.

I did two steeps, one being 3 minute long and second one was 5 minute long.

First one was interesting, I get nice base with mostly mint, it was tasty and enjoyable though I can imagine more strawberry flavour there. But at least it wasn’t like a bubble gum. It was nice and pleasant, but maybeI have been expecting again a little more, although hard to say as those pouches are soo small. Maybe I am using just too much water.

The second was sadly weak. I get the base, but mint is gone asd strawberries were weak. Yep, I know, I had few great strawberry teas recently, so my taste can be affected by those.
