From Cruz de Malta

“Normal” grind con palo. Mild flavor; unobtrusive. Rivals Rosamonte Suave for smoothness. Makes excellent traditional mates. Good brand for the uninitiate.

This is my first time trying Yerba Mate other than in a blend of oolong and mate kombucha. Unlike the other two reviews at this time, I actually liked the flavors, though on the initial steep I’d recommend using cooler water (130* – 140* F) to avoid leaching out a bit of bitterness.
