My last pot of tea before bed time. I can’t remember the last time I had this tea..must be a few months ago now. The tea bag doesn’t reveal much in terms of ingredient quality or content but the flavour is quite nice.

It’s a subtle orange and floral mix that is light yet sweet and succulent. Not sure I would have chosen orange necessarily for a night time tea but since I am such a fan of orange I don’t mind it. My husband thought I got the wrong tea bags because he also associates orange as being an energizing taste.

There is also a touch of cinnamon that adds a touch of spice to the orange. It reminds me of a few Christmas teas I finished off in January.

I was a bit wary of this tea because it smelled very cinnamony and I was afraid it was going to be too strong, but the flavour was suprisingly delicate and well balanced. I also left it a bit lobger than I should have, but it did not detract from the flavour at all. This tea is one I will be drinking regularly

Advent Calendar Cupper #12.
Another infusion I tried blind, another one where Cupper fooled me partially ;-) …I wouldn´t have guessed this blend contains 35% of cinnamon and 25% of chamomile! No, the rooibos base together with the melissa and orange aroma´s make this a nice “different” Xmas blend, according to me, where the sweetness in nose fortunately turns into much more subtle in mouth, with sweet&spicy notes from something I thought might have been vanilla, but there I was wrong. I definitely look forward to 24th December to try this blend again!

Day 12 & 24 of the Clipper advent calendar! Loving this one. The chamomile and cinnamon work really well together. I just left the teabag in, and thankfully the valerian never becomes noticeable. I really dislike the flavor of valerian, so I’ve struggled with it as a sleep/relaxation aid. Can’t guarantee that’s why I’m finding this blend relaxing, but I am finding it soothing after a long and stressful day. Great for a supermarket tea!
