This tea actually tastes pretty much exactly like the description on the website…it’s buttery and vegetal and each steep is a little different but always extremely pleasant. I think I’m at my 6th steep now and it’s still flavourful.
This tea’s leaves give off succulent aromas of strawberry jam, roastednuts, fresh herbs grass and delicate flowers. Produced in Anji by Mr. Wu, this vintage is made from Bai Ye, the same botanical variety from which Anji Bai Cha tea is developed. Handcrafted the Long Jing way as flattened leaves, this green tea get its personality entirely from its taste: intense, smooth and slightly sweet all at the same time, with aromas of peanuts, white flowers, wild strawberries, fresh asparagus and corn, and an enveloping and caressing texture. You can practically taste a ray of sunshine in every sip…
