Beautifully made tippy clonal leaves with a very sweet floral/fruity aroma. These leaves produce an amazingly rich, smooth and well rounded tea liquor with a fully developed muscatel flavour profile full of depth and nuance. One of our best Darjeeling finds in years!

This is not an actual sipdown, however I am not a lover of darjeelings and though this is a nice one I just dont think I appreciate it like a darjeeling lover would. I happen to be having dinner with a friend who is a fan of darjeelings so I will be passing the rest of the sample on to him.
As far as darjeelings go, this one is nice. Muscatel and raisiny per usual but not overly floral as darjeelings can sometimes be. A little bready even. A good darjeeling for those new to exploring darjeelings. Thank you for sharing, Evol Ving Ness!

I am fairly new to Darjeeling teas, but find myself craving the muscatel with gentle nuances of caramel and raisin on days such as today. It’s a bit cool and damp out there thankfully after the killer humid blasts we had earlier in the week. I haven’t been particularly well the past few weeks, so a quiet day with tea and contemplation is just what is needed.
