Another one I like! I’m hitting gold lately with all these samples. I love almond if done right, and that’s the predominate with this one. It’s better when piping hot rather than cooled. Do like enough to buy more of it. And of course the name rocks.

I’m a big fan of almond flavoring in teas, and this was a tasty one. The almond is definitely present in scent and flavor, but it isn’t overwhelming the base of tea. I couldn’t give you much else on the flavor profile. It was a hit for me and my partner, so we’re adding it to the list for the future.

Brutaliteas advent day 10! It was a nice, subtle marzipan-type blend.

BrutaliTeas Advent Calendar 2022 – Day 10

Uh oh, almond is in the name ha ha… ^^’

Luckily, the almond flavor isn’t too terribly strong. This has an interesting mix of bases, with oolong, black, and roasted maté. To be honest though, the oolong and maté pretty much blend into each other and contribute a very woody note. I do taste a little of the black tea as well.

Overall, it mostly tastes woody with the marzipan-like almond flavor. It’s fine and very drinkable, but not something I would purchase. I think maybe a bit of cinnamon would help add some interest here?
