From Bird Pick Tea & Herb

Fucha, a famous dark brick tea, also known as Golden flower, goes through a second fermentation as lightly compressed bricks, hence the golden spores on the black tea leaves. Traditionally enjoyed in China for its rich, unique full-bodied flavors, of wood and dates, along with a myriad of health benefits such as aiding digestion, metabolism, sugar and blood pressure levels. This blend is blended with Shandong Roses, also known for detox, clearing the skin, and a boost of immunity for a delightfully strong rosy brew.

TeaTiff Traveling Tea Box | No. 21

This was in a bag that was previously labeled as an osmanthus tea so that’s the first thing I noticed when I smelled the dry leaves, but after steeping the osmanthus faded away and the rose came through. This is labeled as a black tea but I swear it tastes like pu’er to me. It’s delicious. After reading Irina’s note, I was worried it might be watery so I used two teaspoons of tea for 8 ounces and it’s perfect. Definitely a keeper.

TTB Review #13: Ugh, definitely not for me. It smells and tastes as if someone had spilled some water, mopped it up with a musty towel, then wrung out the liquid and called it tea. I don’t taste ANY of the rose which is very disappointing considering I made sure to put two buds into my infuser. I hate wasting tea which is the only reason I forced myself to finish this cup. Bleh.
