Hmm… even though this is called a Nightly Beauty Tea, I’m drinking it fairly early (at least, early for me) because it contains Pu-erh and I generally find Pu-erh to be quite invigorating for me, and I thought that even though this has chamomile and herbs that I typically would save for closer to bedtime, I figured I’d have it in the earlier hours because of the Pu-erh.

I am really liking this. With my first sip, I noticed the sarsaparilla immediately (I love sarsaparilla) and I could also taste the ginger and hints of the cacao. This doesn’t have a strong pu-erh taste and I’m fine with that. Remarkably soothing, but I do still feel a little bit of restorative/invigorating effects going on.

This is quite enjoyable, really, and it is something that I think I could drink on a regular basis. Maybe not every day, but certainly every couple of days. Calming and gently restorative.

This tea is from my company, and will be available online in the next few months. (as of now, you an request a sample). I love it. But, I’m using this tasting note to tell you about a perfect tea booze companion I received as a gift: http://domainedecanton.com/ If you haven’t seen it, it is a french ginger liquor, accented by tahitian vanilla, and it is wonderful in evening tea. Highly recommend it.
