For a cheap bagged tea, this is not bad. I mean, don’t get me wrong. It’s not great. The peach flavor is very strong, dominating the drink. The taste of the green tea, meanwhile, is pretty much not there. But this is drinkable. It doesn’t need any sweeteners or additives, since it’s already quite syrupy.

Allow me to be frank at the commencement: I am going to damn this tea with faint praise. You see, I have been trying to incorporate green tea into my daily tea habits and so have been exploring the various varieties most easily available. To see what will do in a pinch, if I’ve only a supermarket’s selection and no access to anything finer.

Thus Bigelow’s Green Tea with Peach. Here’s the faint praise: it smells AMAZING. I could honestly hang out inhaling the vapors from a cup of this for some ridiculous and undisclosed amount of time – and that would probably provide a better tea experience overall. This tea is tasteless and barely serviceable apart from the marvelous peach scent.

I should probably inform you that I have a fondness for peaches. And also that the previous sentence is an understatement.

I add perhaps half a tablespoon of honey to mine to make it more palatable, since I’m not one to waste this-side-of-serviceable tea sachets. I wouldn’t recommend the tea, though.

The delicate flavor of the green tea is not overpowered by the delightful peachiness of this tea. It has a flowery hint as well. I like this plain or with a cube or two of sugar depending on my mood.

A very drinkable tea. The smell of peach dominates, but the taste is not as strong. I enjoyed it and will definitely drink it again.

I could barely taste the peach in the tea! It was a faint after-taste at best; at worst it was a slightly pleasant flavour of tap water. I promise you, I do not have a cold. You would be better off with a loose tea.

Soothing and summery. Not a staple tea by any stretch, but good for an inexpensive pick me up.

I had this tea after breakfast this morning. I found the peach taste in the tea almost completely masks any taste of green tea. The peach is fairly strong but not fake tasting or super sweet. The second sip is where I tasted some very light green tea taste. This would be a great way to interest someone in green tea.

For me, peach teas are pretty hit or miss, which is a shame since peach is one of my favorite flavors of anything. I’ve found a lot of peach teas to be very strong and possessing a somewhat artifical taste, but the peach in this tea is delicate and doesn’t overpower the green tea flavor. When my taste buds are screaming for something peach-flavored, this is my go-to tea!

I tried it hot, but I just didn’t like it. Later, I stuck a whole bunch in a pitcher of water and let it steep in the sun for a while, then sweetened and iced it. Cold, it was much better. This is definitely more of an iced tea than a hot tea.
