Brewing instruction:
For a perfect cup of tea and to fully appreciate their premium Estate Black Flavored Tea, bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Use one tea bag per cup and steep to desired strength (suggested time is 2-3 minutes). If preferred, add milk or lemon, sweeten with sugar or honey. Relax and enjoy!

I recently pawned off about 5 teabags of this to a local friend (she gets basically everything I have that I don’t want). Didn’t enjoy it, personally, but glad you did :)
The Bentley’s stuff I’ve tried has all been ok.

Gmathis, I have purchased a couple of the Bentley teas, and for some odd reason,
I like them more with each successive cup…not bad because, afterall, it could be the opposite…lol… ;-)
This is a good Earl Grey. Not the best I’ve had, but certainly no where near the worst. It has a pleasant black tea base, and the bergamot is strong and flavorful. The aroma is strong in the dry leaf, but it is considerably softer in the brewed tea, although it still smells delicious.
A good, basic Earl Grey. One of the better bagged Earl Grey teas that I’ve encountered.
Got a whole gang of Bentley’s teas for Valentine’s day from my dad and am just now remembering to add them to my cupboard. So far, I can’t stop having this one. It is pure heaven. And my husband says its “not as bad as the other ones” so that’s saying something since he absolutely hates all things earl grey. Earl grey has always been my “safe tea” when I’m out because its the one tea that most restaraunts that offer tea carry an earl grey and they always taste pretty similar and enjoyable to me. I would list this one today as my 2nd favorite earl grey tea. My 1st being Kusmi’s Bouquet of Flowers No. 108 which I should really get to ordering soon.
I am finishing these Bentley teas from last winter’s stash of borrowed tea. I am guilty for not purchasing them but borrowing them instead, well one does not borrow tea, as I have no intention of replacing them. I might someday give my mother-in-law a box of tea but not as nice as the Bentley chest she received from her own child. Enough, now for the review at hand:
Tea is golden in color, similarly to that of a green tea. What I notice at first breathing in the fragrance of the tea is that it is a smooth smelling tea; none of that oceanic or grassiness in the smell.
I first steeped this tea for 2 minutes and did not wish to add anything to it. It is lovely as is; in taste it is creamy, and very mild. The bergamot oil does make me think I smell orange and I am happy to have finally discerned this since I have been fortunate to come to know that bergamot is a citrus fruit, like an orange.
I like this Earl Grey by Bentley’s.

Earl Grey Green Tea?!?! what the… It’s strange, not bad mind you but strange, it really does taste like having a bag of green and a bag of english black tea in the same cup… and as a bonus theres a strong taste of bergamont in it! Definately woke me up while I was drawing, but it might be a while before I try it again.
Yum. Probably one of the better Earl Grey’s I’ve had (that’s not saying much, I’m a tea newbie!). It has a rich black base and can become quite strong without being bitter if steeped for longer than 2 minutes. Adding a bit of milk adds to the flavor without drowning it out, and I’ve re-steeped these tea bags several times with good results.
