When I first opened up this bag of tea I was slightly disappointed – I was expecting a stronger aroma, and the tea just smells like dried fruit. It’s a very colorful interesting-to-look-at tea with the leaves and bits of fruit. I saw a few other reviews talking about how the tea is all edible and you can let the fruity bits float and drink them, but be aware that the dried cherries (which will sink to the bottom of the cup) do have pits!

I LOVE hibiscus tea iced in the summer – I’ve only had this tea hot so far, but I think it would make a lovely refreshing iced tea. I found it to be a bit too mild brewed according to the instructions on the front of the bag, so I use a bit more and steep it a bit longer and it has a great hibiscus flavor with the slight sweetness from the fruit. I found it to be sweet enough on it’s own without any additional sweetener, but it’s even better with a little dash of cinnamon!
