Jingmai tea is a classic on Bannacha. Our operations are centered on this fabulous tea mountain where Yubai has been running a small tea factory for five years. We have released the mao cha version of this tea and here are the cakes.
The tea leaves come from a 1800 year-old tea garden. The tea trees grow under a forest cover which provide many ecosystem services and allow a sustainable production without pesticides and fertilizers. The tea trees can be up to 500 years old and grow on a rich dark soil.
The cake version is well balanced between red and green. It delivers a complex flowery fragrance, plenty of huigan and a lot of power as far as autumn tea goes. It can be brewed over seven times. You will surely enjoy the autumn side of Jingmai mountain.
