From Bana Tea Company

Pasai is one of the most remote and lesser known tea producing regions in Lancang County of Yunnan. This tea is made of leaves from trees that are over 200 years old. Predominant flavors have overtones of bamboo and ginger flowers. Astringency is negligible, even in a strong brew. Mouth feel is soft and silky, leaving a natural and refreshing sensation across the palate and throat. This is an incredibly good tea for this price range.

From the Bana sampler pack I purchased. Excellent raw. Very well balanced. Somehow it had everything: light, floral, fruity, creamy, buttery. Starts off soft and silky. A tiny and pleasant sheng bite developed as I got into the 3rd steep, but less than I’d expect for something less than 3 years old. The two times I’ve drank it I’ve tasted notes of green pepper, creamy green bean casserole, or fruity juiciness like grape. I have more detailed notes on my blog https://runawaytea.wordpress.com/2017/12/20/a-taste-comparison-of-the-same-tea-with-different-water/. It tasted different with spring water. I would purchase this tea. It lasts about 7-8 steeps if you do the last ones for several minutes. Wish it lasted longer. Medium cha qi. Not too harsh on my stomach.

Terrible review because I drank this the other night with my housemate while getting merry, and I only had one session of sample of this.

What I can remember was that it started fruity, got sourer, then the next day the brews were really nice. Theres something good in the leaf flavour of this one. Dont know what it is but its slightly fragrant & minty camphor hints. The silky description on the website is quite on the money.

I certainly remember enjoying it, that much I do know.
