This is my first time tasting any type of Kukicha at all. I’m struck by the distinct sweetness and almost complete lack of astringency, and the nature and degree of sweetness reminds me of white grapes. This tea has a cloudy light green-yellow color and a mild grassy aroma.

Kukicha is a great tasting tea that uses the parts of the tea that are sometimes considered “leftovers” the stems and twigs, but the flavor of this tea is really good, I love the sweetness of this tea blended with the flavors you would expect from a higher quality green tea.

I love this tea, it’s sweet with floral taste but quite a bit sencha.
