From AdventureTea, LLC

The native Jivaro word for brewed Guayusa is “Night Watchman,” presumably because: A) it made their night watchmen less-prone to becoming Jaguar food; and B) they hadn’t yet come up with a word for rocket fuel. Shamans are said to intone, “Now you will always return to the Amazon,” when they bestow a cup of this brew to a lucky visitor. Contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee.
Tastes Like: The jungle. Wet earth, green grass, and woodsy/smoky aromas dominate, becoming full-flavored and mildly sweet on the tongue.
