These Tinsel Teas aren’t ending up very flavorful for me. I don’t even taste mint. I just taste generic, light flavoring on black tea with no real character. It tastes like almost nothing. These samples are from a tea box, and they were stored in regular Ziploc bags for an unknown amount of time, so perhaps they were once more strongly flavored.

Sipdown! (41 | 114)

Another cute holiday mini tin!

This one is slightly better than the gingerbread version. It’s a bland black base tea, but the peppermint leaf adds a bit of herbal interest, and there’s also some creaminess from the added flavoring.

It does feel like there’s not enough flavoring though, as it ends up mostly being a blend of black tea and peppermint leaf. A little more sharpness from the candy cane flavor and creaminess from the vanilla would be nice.

Not bad, but not good either!
