Brush up on your hula and break out the lei necklaces because we’ve gone Hawaiian with our Kona Pineapple herbal blend! The next best thing to drinking liquid sunshine, this fruity tisane will have you laying back and hanging loose while its zesty pineapple essence dances on your palette. Delightful on its own, however, we suggest cold brewing or pouring over ice for an exhilarating refreshment that will have you pining for summer, aloha!

Pineapples are tropical fruits known for their pinecone like shape and spiky green leaves. Their flesh is a cheery yellow with a softer outer layer and a firmer core. Worldwide, pineapples are known as a symbol of hospitality, and in cuisine, they are known for their ability to play well with others, pairing well in fruit salads, smoothies, tropical drinks, chutneys, upside-down cakes, grilled items, and of course, the infamous love-it-or-hate-it Hawaiian pizza. We may not be able to settle that debate, but one thing we can tell you? How great pineapple tastes in this tea.

Herbal Tea | No caffeine | Steep at 212° for 5-10 minutes.

I didn’t love the Teavana tea that this one is replicating, so I was hesitant to try this one, but it’s nice to have a lighter fruity option. I like hibiscus, but I don’t want every blend to contain hibiscus. The flavor is sweet but not overly sweet. I think the lemongrass and pineapple go very well together, but there’s not quite enough flavor. It’s a bit plain, but a lot lighter and less artificial than the Teavana version. Even with extra leaf, it’s not really strong enough. August Uncommon’s Big Easy is definitely still my favorite pineapple blend. This one just makes me wish I were drinking that one!
