This blend is pretty nice, I do understand that people prefer their highly caffeinated wake-up blends but I think this cozy sweet, spiced blend is a gentle start to the perfect fall morning. Sweetened with a tiny bit of honey, it tastes like cinnamon bread.

Sample from a TTB. This just tasted like sort of bitter lightly flavored black tea. I think the mate combined with the black tea to make it taste more bitter than it really is. This was okay with milk and sugar, but I didn’t really like it.

“I’m a caffeine lunatic that’s a little hesitant about maté (it sometimes tastes dry/musty to me). So I was holding off on this until a Day of Great Urgency.

Today was such a day. I spaced out in the shower and was late to a meeting with wet hair. The files I needed for a bunch of projects were unavailable to me. The Internet was down. I considered turning to my nemesis, coffee, for a much needed jolt."

Spoiler: I didn’t turn to the coffee.
