As part of the Wonderland series of tea, this blend mixes spearmint, cinnamon and candy cane for a refreshing – if bit mad – concoction of tea. The taste is extraordinary; minty, mad and yet crazy fun – just like Wonderland.

The Mint combo was more subtle than I was assuming it would be and at first I couldn’t really taste the Cinnamon…however…I did find at lukewarm or not piping-hot temps I can then taste the cinnamon a bit more. I can also taste the cinnamon more on the 2nd infusion as well as when it cools way down (to near cold). Just a few things I picked up on.

I love this minty, spicy cup. The candy cane black tea with spearmint are the perfect pairing with cinnamon. If you love spices, this is your cuppa. :) If you don’t, well, avoid.

Backlog:
I’m not usually a huge fan of Adagio teas, but, I find that I generally prefer the custom blends like this one over their flavored teas. Yeah, I know that the flavored teas are what are used to make the blends, but something about the teas being blended together seems to … make that Adagio harshness a little less so. I don’t know why.
And I didn’t really notice the harshness that I usually taste from Adagio’s flavored black teas with this blend. Bonus points for that.
It’s a tasty combination of cinnamon, candy cane, and spearmint teas.
I’m thinking I might just blend this myself instead of leaving it in Adagio’s hands! I see what you mean about the cinnamon!
