Tea of the Week for September 24, 2018!
LOVE this! Love at first sip!
Of course, that’s something I can say about just about every single genmaicha blend I’ve crafted (I can’t think of one that was disappointing) – because I absolutely LOVE genmaicha. I love that roasty-toasty flavor and it goes so well with the marshmallow-y goodness that is our Marshmallow Treat Genmaicha. This time, I took that original recipe one step further and added some butter pecan essence to the blend – and it certainly DOES NOT disappoint!
To be honest, I had planned on doing a pumpkin tea this week – but when it came time to blend the tea, my shipment of pumpkin had not yet arrived so I needed to think of a different blend – and this is it, folks!
This blend combines our organic Matcha infused Genmaicha with marshmallow root, vanilla bean and essence of butter pecan (but don’t worry, this is NUT FREE!) along with some calendula petals for a touch of color – and wowza! It’s delicious! It tastes like a marshmallow treat butter pecan ice cream sandwich (imagine using marshmallow treats to sandwich a scoop of butter pecan ice cream! YUM!) that’s been liquefied and added to a cup of green tea! It’s nutty, it’s sweet, it’s creamy and it’s marshmallow-y! It’s so good!
And as always, this is vegan, gluten free & allergen free!
